The Luxe Bomber Jacket

Style Theory: The Luxe Bomber, the one jacket that will immediately update your look. Featured heavily on the SS16 catwalks by Saint Laurent to Dries Van Noten to Gucci, the satin bomber jacket, preferably heavily embroidered is the edgy, cool jacket to give your SS16 outfits a 'lift'

It has taken me a little while to get on board with this trend, but keep your outfit simple underneath and this jacket can do all the talking for you. Pair with a tee, ankle length jeans and a pair of trainers or heels for the evening for an impeccable 2016 look.

Here are the best on the high street now...

Topshop Two In One Reversible Bomber £85

Loving this bomber jacket, it is quite 'out there' and a real statement jacket. The fact it is reversible is such a good idea, two jackets in one, I love the blue quilted side. No fancy outfits needed underneath just keep it simple.
Topshop Shiny Bomber £60
This would look fab with a breton top or pale denim shirt underneath, add a pair of white ankle length boyfriend jeans and trainers for a grown up but cool take on the bomber.
Missguided Premium Embroidered Bomber Jacket £40
Less shiny, than the bomber jacket above, this jacket is heavily embroidered and is a real 'trophy' jacket. Mix up the florals with a stripey top underneath but keep jeans and shoes simple, a pair of stan smith trainers or black converse will look fab with this.

New Look £34.99
Gorgeous embroidery detail on this jacket on a monochrome base. An easy jacket to wear, looks great on and is a good price for a 'fashion' look.
New look White Floral Print Contrast Jacket £34.99
This is a the perfect spring/summer jacket, girly print mixed with a tomboy bomber shape is a complete winner. This would look fab with a black tee, denim cut off shorts and white superga trainers.
Mango Velvet Jacket £89.99
This jacket will take you smoothly into AW16, it is all about textures and fabrics next season with velvet being a front runner. This looks sleek, add a breton underneath and a pair of blue skinny jeans and trainers for a cool look.
Asos Premium Embroidered Jacket £65
Love the pink sleeves on this bomber jacket and a slightly longer length.
Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren £145
This is my favourite bomber, I love the colour and the print, very Gucci-esque and looks great with shorts but will look equally as good in the winter with a tight fitting biker jacket underneath. Also you won't be bumping into people wearing the same on the high street.
Zara Embroidered Jacket £69.99
A beautiful soft colour, this pale pink bomber jacket is a gentle take on the trend, it would look fab with white jeans and a pale grey tee for beautiful spring outfit.
Zara Lace Bomber £49.99
A little different but this is the perfect dressed up bomber jacket, with a delicate lace design this looks really designer-esque, just add a tee, a pair of boyfriend jeans and heels for a beautiful Spring/summer look.

I am officially on board with this trend, loving the red Ralph Lauren jacket (it is in my Asos shopping basket) I really like the way these jackets do all the work for you so your outfit and accessories can be quite plain just add one of these jackets for some drama.

Do you have a trophy bomber jacket, which one have you gone for? As always I would love to hear your thoughts and comments, until next time Frances xxxx
